Crush Childhood Cancer

Pediatric cancer is the least talked about cancer in the world. Why is that? Possibly because people can’t handle the fact that children are suffering or possibly they don’t want to think about their child developing cancer and what that would do to them, but whatever the reason, Pediatric cancer is widespread and heartbreaking. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in children. About 10,380 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer in 2015. If you feel there is nothing you can do about this you would be mistaken. There are many organizations out there that are in the fight to crush childhood cancer and you can be a part of the fight. First and foremost, you can pray, pray for a cure for this horrible disease. You can join a variety of foundations and get on their prayer team; you can financially support research hospitals like St. Judes and others that are trying to find a cure and giving free care to children that are ill; you can write letters of encouragement to the children that are ill and their families. The list goes on and there is no shortage of areas that you might be able to be of support in this fight.
